Whats the best rated / featured TV of all time? (king of technology)

Now naturally I'm assuming alot of people are going to post plasma models, etc... but someone convince me not to be scared with all that burn in talk. Since plasma has come out, I heard some plasmaTV models (like generation 2 product lines) have certain types of technology to prevent this now. Should i wait...Explain please....like what should I look for? It would really suck to see my new TV have major problems within 2-3 years and start gradually fading on me. (Especially dropping thousands after a 3 year warrenty ran out, etc...)

Plasma defiantly seems to have the best angle view, display, portability, etc... but the technology seems to unstable... right?

From reading and reading it seems 1080 DLP's or LCOS is the way to go.

If you have the space and you will be sitting in front of the tv at all times then I would suggest a rear-projection tv.

The Sony SXRD, which is LCoS based, is the best tv on my shelf.
