That usually means there is a problem with the original dvd you are trying to copy. Possibly dirt, damage or scratched, or finger prints. Clean the disc well and try again. Try a second dvd to make sure it isn't the drive going bad. Is the problem dvd an original or maybe a copy. X Copy programs have trouble re-making copies from copies.
