Do I have to re-format my hard drive ??

    I have a 200gb maxtor hard drive that i use as a slave drive on my main cpu. Is it possible to use this as the same slave drive on another cpu WITHOUT having to re-formatt the drive? Thanx in advance for advice.

    You shouldnt have to reformat. Ive done this a few times my self and have never had to reformat.

    when i go to use it as a storage drive in my other cpu, I can't get the other cpu to read the drive without it asking me to format the drive. What am i doing wrong
