This is more of a computer network question, but when I hook up my pc to the internet through a router i get almost no signal. The pc needs to be directly linked through the modem to access the internet. problem: faulty cables? software? should i consider just using a crossover cable?
possible the cables, not sure when i hooked up my wireless router (linksys) to my cable modem it worked great. may have even increased the speed. But my model has "Speedboster" technology on it. make sure you have it all connected right.
