Hi. I'm going to buy for the first time a DVD burner, and Im e real newbie on this. I wonder if will DVD-R burning be different from CD-R burning. That is: will I have to re-install my burning programs (I use Nero and Alcohol 120%) so that they will see I have a DVD burner and they will install also some DVD capabilities? I'm asking this because now al Alcohol 120% profile I observe are for CDs (Normal CD, Audio CD and so on), none for DVDs. Second question: let's suppose I have an .ISO of a movie and an .ISO for a game. What should I do? Have I to behave differently, since data DVD are not DVD movies, or not?
Hi - Should be not any difference - burning programs should recognise your DVD burner without any problems. I do not use Alcohol 120 (drink too much of it) but use DVD Decrypter to create ISO's - principle should be the same. Movies will burn to hard drive as C:\Stealth.iso - its just a matter of selecting the appropriate ISO file and burning Have fun.
