Why would you want a Vista Beta anyway, unless you have a spare computer which you won't mind reformatting when something goes wrong. I can't see any value in installing a system that as yet hasn't proven to be good enough to release to the general public
It should be release first sometimes in the Spring as an Enterprise Community Technology Preview (CTP) to corporate accounts participating in its early Technology Adopter Program (TAP); to give them advance time to prepare for the new architectural change of this new O/S. Late Summer, it may be released to some chosen consumers.
Ya I have MSDN subscription and threw it on. Pretty cool.. but not much driver support yet. Especially for x64 bit version. I can't get on the internet with it yet to update because I live in a Dorm at college and they require cisco clean access agent and since I don't have an antivirus, I don't get internet, and I don't get updates. It looks really smooth so far, opacity for window transitions which looks cool. Internet Explorer 7 looks like it got alot of ideas from mozilla like tabbed browsing and an integrated search bar. Looking foreward to getting a x64 virus protection as soon as I can afford it.
Well if your planning on d/l music/games/movies then don't waste your money! Vista will make you pay for everything you download to make them work!
