when booted to the ms dash board, there is a option in video that says " pal-60" and u can turn it off or on. WHat is it? How do i know if my tv supports it. My tv is a HDTV. Sony grand wega 60 inch. And it supports upto 720p and 1080i. So does my tv support it? And also i think when i turn the pal 60 on, the graphics are a bit more blurrer or smoother, I aint sure about this one as i only tried it once. Maybe it just made the graphics more better. I dunno. Correct me if i am wrong.

when the xbox is set to Pal 60 some games will experience bad frame rate problems, while other games will work fine without any problems at all. So if you experience any frame rate problems, try switching back to Pal 50.

Edit: dude, i just re-read your post and realised-u need an xbox 360. the old box (i think) only gave out max 480, if your tv does 720/1080 its wasted on the box. videos u play through the box will only be outputted with this mode also! 360 in the shopping basket!!

The pal-60 mode just means it changes the refresh rate of the games from 50hz to 60hz
