first you should flash the chip, you can store games, movies, music on you big HDD, play Halo, play more Halo. Turn OFF you modchip and go Live with Halo 2.

I use to play PS2 only as well. Then I realized the potential the Xbox had. I also bought one that had a chip and 120GB HDD inside. I recommend using an auto-installer like Slayer's. It sets up your whole Xbox for you. Installs all apps and everything you need.

Right now I use my xbox to watch TV shows and Movies that I've downloaded in DivX format. I also use it to play emulators for N64, NES, SNES, etc. And of course to play actual Xbox games.

I just recently got my Xbox as well, and I love it. Can't I didn't get it sooner! Good luck with yours!

    go on xbox-scene.com

That's where I found a ton of information.

But I suggest you download an auto-installer if you're starting everything from scratch. It's just so easy. I downloaded SLAYER'S EVOX AUTO INSTALLER 2.6, burnt it onto a DVD-R and put it in my xbox. It installed everything for me including the dashboard and flash the bios. It also installed the emulators for systems like genesis, snes, n64....

I totally recommend auto-installers. Slayer's isn't the only one. But if you prefer to just install and do everything one at a time then you can learn how to do it at the site I listed above.

    hi guys
my installer is better than slayers
if anyone has been emailing me or sending messages, I have changed the email address I have, so I am now (once again) able to recieve email notifications.
Wong is right, an installer is the easiest way to go, yet my installer has a huge advantage, its 4.5gb FULL of everything you could possibly need. It also "sets up" the IP of evox for you so you dont have to do it manually.
