Hey guys, I have an issue with my xbox that is modded and has an evo x and avalaunch, although i know little of what those actually are. My problem is sometimes ill be playing my games backed up on my system and my xbox will just shut off. I have 2 different power plugs(the one that came originally with the system and one with a surge protector) and it happens when i use either. What do you guys think is the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.
well when i hook it up in the living room of my house it just wont turn on at all. And when i hook it up in my room, it turns off sometimes. Will this damage my xbox in any way?
probably not it must be something wrong in your xbox. evry time you hit the power button it turn of automaticaly so im pretty sure it wont damage it p.s. anymore than it alread is.
I am able to turn my xbox on after it has shut off suddenly and sometimes i am able to play without it happening again and sometimes itll shutoff again. So do you think there is some kind of hardware problem with my xbox or is it more likely the power source here in my house. If it is a hardware problem what should i do to fix it? I appreciate all your help and thanks for everything.
okay mabe you: 1. have a broken saulder or 2. have a defected xbox is yours modded? answers 1. take it to your lacal computer store and have them take a look at it unless you know how to saulder and are good with that kind of stuff. 2. take it back explain your problem and but most places you can only take it back if its unmodded.
