I'm looking for an inkjet photo printer that will print on printable DVD's. The Epson models look attractive and are priced right, hoever, I only have room for an 18" wide printer. Any ideas. Thanks in advance.

If you are in the US your only option right now is the Epson's no one else makes them just yet. Try the R200 I believe that is the smallest. If you are in Europe then Cannon makes one there.

if you can spare another inch or so go for the Epson 200 or 300 ..... Mine is 320 and I love it but it's almost 19" wide. I don't measure printer lengths.... so..... I can't help you other than telling you about my Epson! It's great!

Try and squeeze another 1/2 inch in there. I think most of the r series are right around 18 inches. I just measured mine (r320) and it's 18.5 x 10. But you do need room in the back of these printers when printing dvd's - can't be up against the wall.

There are other printers out there I just don't know if you are willing to spend 1,000$ for one like this one

which is only 17 inch wide, but only prints on cd/dvd.

Thanks all. Today I purchased an Epson R220 it just fits into the space available. I worked with it for a few minutes and everything seems to work well and it's easy to use. Thanks for all the advice. It really makes a person feel good when asking questions at this web site and knowing that answers can come from all over the world. I guess this world isn't as big as we thought and there are good people everywhere.

Get excellent ink here, for your new Epson. This is a very good price, and works as good as the original Epson ink.

Copy and paste the address. When I try to make it a link, it only links part of the address, and takes you to wrong page.

My R300 has never let me down, all of my genuine Yuden and Maxell (mij) printables looks 99% professionally.

ALKOHOL, sometimes I copy the label from the DVD that I'm backing up.
I have a Visioneer 3300 inexpensive scanner and doing a recopy doesn't always come out that great, well maybe that can be my next investment ( a new scanner ) thanks again.
