best/worst brands for DVD+R....please help everyone

    please let me know which of these brands are best to worst

    TDK...Memorex...Fujifilm...HP(office max brand)...Maxell...Sony??

    in terms of pixelation problems on HD tv's?

    In the contest of WORST discs then in my book the clear winner is Memorex, I cant comment on the others though.

    It depends who manufactured it not just Brands. I would take Sony over the others. Tdk,HP,Memorex is how they finish. I have Maxell MIJ I like and have had good Fuji's as well.

    Personnaly I use Sony's, never had one problem so far! $19.99 CND at Walmart for a 50 spindle.

    Memorex is absolute crap
    TDK depends where it's made (Taiwan = bad, Japan = good)
    Maxell same as TDK
    Verbaitum is excellent
    RiData is suppost to be good, i've never used it.

    Pixalation normally means the disc was burnt to fast, crappy quality normally means too much compression.

    I personally use Sony as well. I haven't had any problems with them. I didn't have a good experience with Fuji and Memorex is plain bad! Not sure about the others though....
