connection thru comp wont work

    I have my bridge set up and I bridge sometimes but sometimes it does not work and it ses that the DNS servers could not be reached. Iv tryed a few things but I cant get it to work. Then a few hours later it suddenly works again. Can someone please help me.

    same problem w/me... Not sure what to do, I'd try restarted the computer with all the cords in.

    Instead of bothering with bridged cables, simply run a connection from your point of access directly to your x-box. AKA.. cable or dsl modem, or wireless router. It's much easier to FTP with it it. You will usually use the handed out IP of 192.168.101.

    Ok, my xbox is connected wireless and my host computer (main computer on the network) is connected through an ethernet cable... now what?

    Now just run the FTP program of your choice, (i use FlashFXP), whern the program loads, choose "quick connect". LEave the port number (21) the way it is. Type this in the address field..."192.168.1.102"
    Username should be "xbox" (lowercase without quotes)
    Password should be "xbox" (lowercase without quotes)
