Convert CDA to MP3 with nero 6.31

    I am trying to convert CDA files from an audio CD to mp3 files, so I could play them on my portable mp3 player. It is not clear how to do that with Nero 6.31.
    Any ideas?

    I managed to use WinAmp to rip the files from the CD to MP3 files, but, although they played OK on my computer, they failed in my portable MP3 player (ARCHOS Jukebox recorder). Any ideas? I used Variable bit rate.
