Hi! I just got this fine movie... So... I tried to back it up... successfully... BUT... when i tried to play the burned backup on my dvd player, it stopped at 1:10:35 (dunno bout the seconds exactly); that spot is where layer break was located on the original dvd, but obviously i don't want it anymore since it's just dvd-5, right? anyone know how to resolve the problem, please? by the way, i'm using DVD Rebuilder Professional V1.00RC5 with CCE SP 2.70.00.02; now i'll move on to V1.04, but i guess it won't help...
no src's or lba's should be transfered to the output of rebuilder as it does just that rebuilds it! it will make one file! the use of imgburn to create a lb will give you one granted you are using nocompression for editing or have set your target's to create dvd9 size file's but as you are not doing this, and there is no special protection's on this title and you get no errors! this would leave me to believe that this is a media/burning related problem! ps why not use 1.06.1 like everybody else or .96 freeware!
media? i don't know, coz i'm no guru... but i'm using Vrbatim 16X Certified and burn with LG-GSA4160B (firmware rev. A306)... so far i hadn't any problem... i tried to burn it to DVD-RW - didn't work... then i played a bit with PgcEdit, burn on RW, and it stopped for while at that spot, but continued as it should... i'm lost
