I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this or not, but I've been having problems burning my PS2 Games on my TY DVD's... I noticed on another thread a pic of the nero tool used for checking the integrity of the data on the disk, but when I go to it, it won't allow me to start the test... I have a disk I burned with my Nero 7 at the slowest speed (2x, I believe) I insert it, it recognizes it, but the Start button never activates, it stays shaded out. Are there other programs out there that will check the quality of my burns or am I doing something wrong with my nero? Again, sorry if this is the wrong forum for this.. Thanks...
I think that function is for checking the quality of a blank DVD I do not know of anything that checks for a burned copy DVD Decrypter has a check box that you can use. It will verify that all the data was written to the DVD. But that doesn't really mean much, the true and only real test i know is to try it in your PS2.
I found the problem... I have a Pioneer DVR A05 DVD Burner... My other PC has a Sony (I forget the model) Nero won't check the discs on my Pioneer (Yes, I did update the firmware, it's version 1.33 now) But it will check on my Sony... I ordered a new burner last night; The Sony DRU-810A, I read some reviews that said it's a very solid unit... I'm sure that will solve my problems...
