I'm having problems getting my MP3 to playback on any stand-alone player.(plays ok in my computer with music match) I took the dvd disc to a retailer. He played the DVD in players that reconise the MP3, dvd, vdv, svd,dvd-r formats. None of the players on the market could play back my DVD. I used Nero to burn one disc and on the other disc Easy Cd creator both latest versions. Burned them straight into a root directory, no other folders created. What am i doing wrong?
You burned the MP3s on a DVD-R? Many DVD players are kind of dumb - they assume that a CD doesn't ever contain DVD-data. That's why MiniDVDs don't work on them. Vice versa the players can assume that a DVD always contains DVD-Video, so even if they should support MP3 playback, they don't realize to look for them on a DVD-R. Just guessing, though. I don't have a DVD-R drive to test my grand theory with =)
