Is that enough . I just got the DVD writer . Sony DVD-RW works fine in it . I burned one DVD-R in it and it worked fine .I have not been able to get the same brand and got two others . You need to update nero. I would uninstall intel aplication accelorator. Then go to device manager and remove the ide controllers then reboot computer. That way it will not be using the intel aplication accelorator drivers for the ide controllers. Then google for enditall2 and run it to kill all unused applications running in background before burning. I would also get more memory. But that is just me. Oh yeah its not recoginizeing the disk in the burner.
I uninstalled Intel Application accelerator and also Nero . I installed Nero 7 (Demo though) and also tried NDI CD and DVD Maker 7 Platinum . Neither of them worked.
