After trying all the patches and suggestions by the nero techs, I'm hoping someone from here can help. I've done everything from down loading the lastest patches. Using there clean tool and reinstalling to downloading there version from the website and nothing works. Every time I go to copy an avi disc or vhs tape through the s-video connection the program crashes. Has anyone had this problem and found a solution. All help will be greatly appreciated. For me it was a fresh install, I went from MyDVD software which worked but lacked the compression capability to copy entire recordings to DVD. Nero7 Ultra was recommended from this site but I have had little success with it. I'm getting the impression the problem is related to the drivers for the hardware. In my case, probably an incompatability with my video card and now a driver incompatability with your DVD unit. I hope someone can shed light on our problems. dmillerj
