Hi all....posted a week or so ago about multiple slideshows on one DVD and the response was quick.
So, burned all 4 shows to HD after I ran defrag.
Then, last night, burned them to DVD using my OEM Nero 6. After it was done, tried it in my stand alone DVD player. Video was great, but I'm getting popping sounds during some, but not all, of the audio. Seems like it happens during the louder portions. The audio portions are wavs that I made from CDs. Searched the forum, Nero's site, and the web, and found some updates for my version, and my burner. Also went to the log, and even though my DVDs are branded HP, drive sees them as CMC....I've read this forum enough to know about THOSE!! Anyway, two questions:
    1. After doing my updates, do I need to re-burn the 4 shows to the HD and then to another DVD again? Or just burn to the DVD.
    2. The log says it was writing at 8x. I would swear on my next paycheck I set it to 2x on Nero's burn page. Anybody? Thanks a lot!!
Oh yes, another thing....I was looking thru the log, and found several WARNING msgs....
WARNING: Operation locked for more than 15 seconds: HWConfigTree (28)
[20:04:10] GCCore WARNING: Operation locked for more than 15 seconds: GCHWModule (127)
[20:04:10] GCCore WARNING: Operation locked for more than 15 seconds: DeviceChangeControlThre
[19:20:25] GCCore WARNING: Operation locked for more than 15 seconds: EditingOutput (1116)
[19:20:25] GCCore WARNING: Operation locked for more than 15 seconds: EditingInput (304)
[19:20:25] GCCore WARNING: Operation locked for more than 15 seconds: EditingInput (278)
Is this something to be concerned about? Thanks again...
