I have been using nero 7 to burn movies with out a problem until now, I noticed my Aspi (I think that's what it's called)needed to be updated so I did that and still it didn't work so I checked the forums and read there were problems with nero 7 so I switched back to nero 6 but seem to be having the same problem. My dvd burner combo will read cd and dvd as well as burning cds, however when it comes to dvds I keep getting the message failed and it says something about not being able to use disc at once I don't really know much about nero. I have seen ppl post their logs so I hope this is what is needed. Your Nero is out of date, current is 7.0.1.4b. Your firmware is also out of date, current is A106, update here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1973 DMA off, update here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 Wow... 512 is considered minimum needed to do DVDs. Seriously update, but until then don't multi-task. Try to write no further than 4300 MB. CMC disk are horrible. Use either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. SOny fuji and maxell are good only if they're made in japan. Try 4x.
