Okay, I have done my share of using Shrink and Dcrypter. Whether it is just backing up or converting, encoding, and then burning. Most of the time is goes good, sometimes not. Now i have video ts folder with vob files, like i have had many times before, but no matter what I do the finished disc will not play on stand alone. Yes i use good media and have encoded and burned vob files many times b4. The movie plays great on the pc and on my portable, just not my stand alone. I have had problems with converting moves b4 and getting them to work, but never, that i can remember, encoding and burning vob files. I have tried to reauthor and/or open folder and select movie that way. It creates a nice little iso and burns, just doesn't play. I have even tried burning with DvdSanta and that didn't work. Any ideas? Thanx.
I would try booktyping the DVD to DVD-ROM which seems to be the most compatable format for stand alone players. Booktyping can be done in Nero or DVD Decrypter
