PS2 Bios update..

Recently I've been reading about the Bios update for the PS2. Something on how you are suppose to purchase the DVD remote which includes the CD that updates the PS2's Bios. What exactly does it "update", rather fix? Just curious if it's worth purchasing later.

It adds features for the dvd movie playing part of your ps2. Like fatser fastwarding I believe. It also updates the dvd driver to like 1.10u. Hope this helps. It is only worth it if you watch dvds on your ps2 very much.
