I have videos on a burnt dvd and i get a error reading disc after 30% of the file when i try to create a image file on Nero, other dvds work. Is there a other method to create image files?
@after007 What exactly do you want to do? You could download the free DVD Shrink( Shame on you if you don't have it already!), open the burned disk and create an ISO. Here is a guide http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/16/59/ Since you have a burned DVD already(probably not a dual layer), after you open your DVD file, skip all the compressing and authoring, all the way to step 6.
im tryin to make a copy of a dvd but its not an orignal, i tried shrink when it was analyzing it said failed to read. after a min or so
Is the DVD scratch maybe,or dirty? Clean it with some soapy water or windex. Try to open it with DVD Decrypter and see if it works. If the disk is damaged, there is also another free program that it supposed to be very good at recovering data from damaged disks: http://www.isobuster.com/
if all you are trying to do is copy a copy don't use shrink just use nero or blind write or ashampoo orany other burning program and make sure that the disk is cleen
I sometimes have trouble making a copy of a copy with Nero. But there are two methods that have not failed me yet. DVD Decrypter: Iso Read then Iso write I've also used (just for the hell of it): DVDFab Decrypter to rip Imgtool classic to create iso ImgBurn to burn DVD Neither of these ways has failed yet for me.
