This is the error message that I am getting. I know my DMA's are off. I have Nvidia drivers, does anyone know how to turn them on? I am pretty new, so can you explain step by step? First thing uninstall IN CD second turn on your dma open device manager and deleate the secondary ide controller then reboot your computer windows will reinstall the ide controller and turn on dma if you record in the pio mode it will take hours to complete the recording INCD creates many conflicts so dump it you do not need it go to nero home page and download acleaning tool for removing INCD this removes every thing from your computer that deals with INCD

Then re-boot and now d/l the last update to Nero 6.6.18 but do not d/l INCD Module ( I think it is module 3). This also is not all of the Nero log as it did not tell me what brand of DVD you were using Cannot connect TRF" means some of Nero's transfer layer components, which are responsible for burning, failed to load. The reason for may be even not enough available memory. The solution is to increase the size of your windows swap file.
Hi. I just reinstalled windows xp on my computer. I had been using shrink for a long time. Now I am getting this error TRF? It encodes and ejects the disc (I was using 1 drive, have a DVD-rom drive but it needs cleaning) then I get the error. I have the latest version just downloaded today and I didnt get the INCD? I am confused. I did the above with the secondary and rebooted now in My Computer it is showing 4 drives? Please help. Thanks!
Hi. The 4 drive thing cleared up after another reboot. I used the clean tool and reistalled my original nero oem v 6.3.1.26. Now i can burn again...but, I am checking the booktype box and when it goes to burn it used to say set to booktype dvd-rom and now it is not saying it (on the burn progress window). Is it not booktyping now? If not can somebody tell me why? They need it for one of my stand alone players. If I update nero to anything newer I still get the TRF ERROR??? Thanks!
