I opened a MDF image and extract the files to a folder. (DVD files)

I then used nero to create a DVD with them. The DVD will play on my computer DVD drive but not on my DVD player. The DVD player never has a problem playing any disc I have put in it until now. The DVD player says "wrong disc format"

    any ideas?

The file extentions on the DVD are VOB, IFO, BUP

download alcohol 120% and burn the image with that its sounds like you have only transfered the files as a data disk not created a DVD

I tried using that program... I am still getting and Error from the DVD player that says "wrong disc"

Could it be I am using a DVD-R instead of DVD+R?

VOB, IFO and BUP are the file extensions of the files on the disc

it may require a dvd+R disk but both alcohol and nero would normaly tell you this before burning
it could be that you have a pal movie and your dvd is ntsc or vice versa or it could be bad media ie cheap dvds
gspot will identify the the format for you just point it at one of the Vob files

It says it is in PAL.. so that is my problem. Will that program covert it? If not how do I convert it?
