when you guys back up a dvd on clonedvd2,do you ajust the mb quality at all or do you just use what the program tells you? like the part where you can choose custom then ajust the bar to read 100%. thanks

I use 4600 on CloneDVD2. This results in a maximum image size that is virtually the same as selecting 4360 on DVD Shrink. This size keeps the 'burn' from going to the very edge of the disk which in some cases may cause problems (skipping/stalling) near the end of a movie. The reason for the different sizes is the way the author of each program chose to measure the size of the output file. Once these sizes are set I do not change them from back up to back up.
    regards

I set it at 4300 so we don't burn close to the edge.

If you use Quality media then you don't have to worry like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim or Sony (MIJ). But again its always better we set it to less than the maximum size so that its not burned close to the edge of the discs where we may see some skipping and freezing problems.
