Anyone know what to use to convert Hi Definition Quicktime .mov to DVD's? Have tried Winavi, Tmpgenc, VSO Divxtodvd and DVD Shrink, none work.

    Hi there,

    VSO DivxToDVD is old.

Try the latest version of VSO ConvertXtoDVD v2.0.4.104 released today.

    http://download.vso-software.fr/vsoConvertXtoDVD2_setup.exe

There is support for .mov (Not 100% of .mov will work)

.mov is like .avi, it's a container, and depending on how the file was encoded, there are still exceptions that do not work.

VSO will have to rewrite the demuxer for those .MOV files, so those exceptions will work, in the future.

VSO ConvertXtoDVD v2.0.4.104 works like a champ. Some of the older .mov's won't convert. But all hi def .mov's encode with hd quality picture and even Dolby Digital 5.1. Thanks, worth every penny.
