My son has one of these PVR/MP3 players (not an iPod). I believe it can read ASF or something, which I believe is MPEG4? So I was wondering if it was possible to convert dvd files to MPEG4 with Nero? Or is there a free software that can do this?

    Thanks

I think AC3 is the audio encoded in AVI files or MPEG2/DVD files, not MPEG4. But I might be wrong.

Nevermind, it looks like this option is available in recode.
