When I back up a movie using dvd decrypter and DVD shrink, I usually just back up the title. My only problem is that English subtitle is the default when the DVD plays. I have to turn it off each time. Is there a way around this? Thanks!
Dead easy! I think you already know how to make a movie-only backup by using the Reauthor feature. So you already deselect unwanted audio and subtitle streams in the right-hand pane. If you right-click on the title in the left-hand pane, you will see a pop-up menu. Go for default substreams and select hide subpictures. This process leaves the subtitles on the backup, but switches them off so that you need to use your remote to show them.
