I just recently became the proud owner of a DVD burner. The problem is, When I try to back up my DVD collection, a message will come up saying that there is not enough space on my Maxell 8x 4.7 2hr. DVDs to hold the whole movie. I am using DVD decypter to burn these and I love the ease of it, but why won't it let must DVDs burn on to a blank. Is there some way I can get around this not enough space thing? The burner is double layer.

Thanks for your help if you can.

You can do 1 of 2 things: Purchase DVD9 or dual layer discs, which are a little expensive or :
2..download a free prog called DVD Shrink, after you use DVDDecrypter this is the ideal prog to squeeze the movie onto DVD5.

Check out bbmayo guide in my sig on how to use them. Cheers
