    Hi all.
Did a search, did not find any helpfull ideas.

Can somebody help me on the following:
Win Media Player gives me the above error-message when trying to view movie.
Other (Winamp, Crystal Player, Power DVD) progs dont work either.
G-Spot shows Video format and Audio format. Correct codecs loaded. BUT, DirecShow Render gets an unknown error message: 0x80040111 to be exact.

    Im on Win XP Pro.

Does anybody know whats causing this? Bad download?

    Thanks for your help guys,

    Jussi

What kind of file type are you attempting to play? (Divx, Xvid, MPEG1, MPEG2)< examples.

    Shoey :)

okay i fixed it...i recently upgraded to directx 9.0a after i restarted i had no sound. so i went into the directx setup/config/troubleshooting program. it did some scans and i did a few tests and all was working well. i then tried to play a video/mp3 and all sound was back to normal. i hope this helps someone/anyone.

    damn microsoft...
