Hi, I had the same problem until I checked under My Computer. I am running Windows XP and under My Computer Nero installs something called Nero Scout. This is a service which scans the directories you specified when you installed Nero for music, pictures etc. If you right mouse click on it you can add or remove folders for it to check by selecting 'options' from the popup menu. When you run Nero Home, leave it running and it will start scanning after a slight delay - on my machine it took days to catalogue everything but it got there in the end! Good luck
