Is there a difference between Dvd video format and ISO format? Dvd Fav/Decrypter/shrink create an ISO, is this the best way to go?

you pretty much get the same result either way. Just depends on how people like to do it.

The difference being the way the files are packaged. In the Files mode you have a bunch of individual files VTSxx.vob etc but the ISO file it’s bundled up with all the files in a package called Movie.iso .

DVDFab Decrypter transfers in the Files Mode.
DVD Decrypter will transfers in both ISO and Files Mode but only writes to a DVD in the ISO Mode.
DVD Shrink will read either Mode and can convert to either ISO to burn with Decrypter or Files to burn with Nero.
Some of the apps like VobBlanker can only read in Files Mode and not ISO.
So basicly it’s what you need to do with the file that counts.

Hope that was clear as Mud…………
