    ok guys im very confused on this issue and I read some of the links explaining how to so I would appreciate a more direct answer.

    First I downloaded a movie and it has a bin file that is 800,000kb and a cue file that is 1 kb. I can click on either of those two files and play the movie threw videolan.

    Now i want to burn the movie to dvd so it will play better and look better rather then watching it threw the PC. I have nero, and instructios before told me to open nero burning rom (which confused me) b/c i don't think its called that anymore.

    Bsically I need alittle help and been stuck with this.

    Very much appreciated

    what i do is

    1)open up cue file in VCDGEAR,it then converts it to mpeg format,takes like 5 mins
    2)then take the mpeg of the movie,run it through vso divxtodvd,this might take a while,it then converts it to dvd format,creating audio and video ts folders.
    3)go to nero express,select dvd-video files,then add the files,then burn away.done deal

    Or, to avoid losing quality with so many convertions from CUE to MPEG then to DVD, mount the image with Daemon tools or Alcohol 120% then re-author it with Nero Vision Express... You'll even be able to add a menu to make it look a little bit more... Cool!

    I'll separate the moves for ya.
    1. Mount the image with Daemon tools or Alcohol 120%.
    2. Open Nero Vision Express.
    3. Click 'Make DVD Movie'.
    4. Click 'Import disc'.
    5. Choose the virtual drive where the image is mounted.
    6. Add the file(s).
    Then just follow the rabbit... ;)
    Any questions, i'll be here to help.

    I was reading that watching a CUE file on your PC the quality isn't any good, but when u burn it to a dvd its just like a normal dvd quality wise.

    Is there truth behind this?

    Permiggs: which is the least version of nero you need to re-author it

    Could you explain in Newbie terms how to do this, does mount mean (load)...ed

    I've read the same thing on several sites.

    To burn to disc using Nero just right click on the cue file which will be the smallest of the 2
    then choose Open With and browse to your Nero.exe (possibly just called Nero) file. (Located in Program Files / Ahead / Nero folder) Ensure the *Always use the selected program to open this type of file* box is ticked, this way next time all you have to do is double click the cue file and the burning interface will open, now choose which speed you would like to burn your disc at. It's recommended to burn at no more than 8x, if you burn at a faster speed this may impair the quality and make the video pixelated.. hope this helps it worked for me

    My question has not ben answered, I have read that watching a cue file on PC, the picture is of low quality whereas if you burn it to a dvd, its high quality just like a dvd.

    What is the true truth behind this?

    @ewddy48

    When i say mount, i mean mount. Right click on your virtual drive, (daemon tolls, Alcohol 120% or even Nero's own Image Drive), and choose 'Mount Image'. When the little explorer window opens, browse to where your .CUE file is and pick it.
    Then follow the above mini-guide... It is really as easy as that! Be safe and burn at no more than 4x speed...

    @iamhead82
    Yeah, it is true... Before i bought my DVD burner, i used to turn DVD's into SVCDs (.CUE files), then burn them into normal cd's... I could watch them on my pc but the quality was a bit 'average'...
