hey i got an idea if you want to downgrade and have a warranty couldnt u just send your psp in say its got somethin wrong with it and get a new one without 2.0 upgrade just a thought

And what kind of Fools do you take §0NY for?!? They'd tell you flat out to take your PSP and stick it! At best you might be able to pull this stunt in a Walmart, or a Bestbuy...

not many 1.5,s left, i got a 1.00 from the U.S., but i upgraded to 1.5 becuase its more compatible.

u dont need to take s0ny for a fool. In norway for example u can return u can return the products within 30 days after u've bought it for any reason. So For the fools in norway and other contries,wich have upgraded their psp to v.2 still have a chance.

I think it's the same though out most of the EU. although here in Germany it's only 14 Day's. But, again that's the same as takeing it back to the Store. The Store will likely take it back, but, if you tryed sending a Bricked PSP (1-Year Warrantee), back to §0NY they probably would check the PSP for signs that you missflashed for PSP (i.e. Bricked it), and deny your request for service.

That's what I ment. Of couse you can under the Law take it back to the Shops'. Within a resionable time! Hell I had to send my PSP back because of Two Dead or Stuck Pixels. =(

Now I'm playing a doubble waiting Game. One for a 1.5x / 2.0 Hack / Crack, and then I also have to wait till the Catalog Shop can get more PSP's in. :(

i didnt test it but i have been through other fourms and comments from pspupdates.com and the like and everyone who states that they have 2.0 EU claim it works

Go to pspupdates.com They just posted the code for hello world.

it downgrades the psp firmware to 5.0

but you need 2 memorycards for it to work

If you watched closely in the updated hello_world video, it shows the very early stages of running homebrew on psp v2.00. Since GTA will debut in the middle of October, expect the 2.00 firmware to be cracked soon or a successful downgrader to be released from.

i already said that lol o well it works and its kinda glitchy cause after it loads you cant use anything to do with the memory stick
