That won't work.
Apache can only read the second layer form an ISO, not a CD.

So your only option is to make an ISO with DVD Decrypter and check if it's bigger than 4.7GB. If it's not, that means only the first label is in the ISO. If DVD Decrypter doesn't work, try Nero or Alcohol, but DVD Decrypter should work.

Thanks for the guide. Worked a treat for me.

The tree in the kit worked fine for me - didn't need to deviate from using the kit in order to make my disc 1 ISO.

I'm using:-
Swap Magic 3.6
PAL PS2
ISO made using DVD Decrypter from an NTSC version of the game
Sony DVD-R 1x-8x media
Alcohol 120% to burn at 4.0x
Pyrodora

Hello!
I found this forum while looking for a way to play Xenosaga on my PS2.
I have a PAL PS2, the Slide Card/Swap Magic 3.6 set and the US version of Xenosaga.
So, what do I have to do now? Create an ISO of the game? How do I do that (a short description or a link to such a description will do, I hope)? Btw, I don't have DVD Decrypter. Can I use Nero instead?
Thanks in advance to anyone who answers! ^^

No, Nero won't work, you have to use DVD Decrypter or you'll be missing the files in the second layer.

You can get DVD Decrypter from here:
http://www.exploitstation.com/index.php?page=downloads

And to make the ISO is really easy. All you have to do is install DVD Decrypter, run it, change Mode to ISO > Read (see menu), stick your game in your DVD drive, select destination file (make sure you have more than 8 GB of space) and click the start button.

daveh87 excuse but can you please tell me what size your iso was when extracted with DVD Decrypter and what size your disk 1 iso was when the kit worked with you. I personally find this very weird as it did not even work for me and I followed the steps raiden300 have posted.

My original ISO is 7.88 GB. My Disc 1 ISO is 4.16 GB, Disc 2 is 4.36 GB, and Disc 3 is 2.80 GB. Hope it helps.
