Yeah the compatibility is not that great when NO-UMD is Enabled. I think it's go something to do with the data. Not sure about that....

hi. I am having trouble with the USB Special System storage device. I have followed all your steps and have go to the part where I select Virtual FAT16 . UMD ISO-9000. I looked for the file on PC under the PSP Drive and I could not find the game anywhere. The Percentage on the PSP was still at 0% too. What should I do. I am running a V1.5 firmware. It has never been upgraded or degraded. I got it today. Please help me as I really want to be able to do this. Thanks a lot

A couple of questions:
Have you got a UMD inside the PSP?
Is the disc really damaged in any kind of way?
Doe the PSP work normally through USB Connection?

Yeah, that's what I've been saying to downgrade to 1.50 you need a GTA v2.00 and use it with the 3.03 downgrader. EX. Upgrade to 3.03 from 2.81 and downgrade to 1.50 with GTA v2.00.

Hi,
Running USB SSS (on firmware 3.30), I get the following message : "This game cannot be started. the data is corrupted."
Download of the usb sss file twice did not help ! and after creating the directory "GAME150" on the MMS the system don't recognize this directory.
Your advice would be very appreciated.
Regards,
John Cateau

This is a homebrw app. It does not work on firmware higher than 1.50 unless it's a custom firmware. Creating a new folder called GAME150 does not work unless you have custom firmware.

You can try downgrading your PSP to 1.50 then use it or upgrade it while it's on 1.50 to custom firmware.

Do not extract it with WinRAR. Keep it as it is then create an ISO folder in your PSP's mem stick root. Then put the iso file in this folder.

I'm using 3.40 OE-A and when I run USB SSS on my PSP, I get this error:
The game could not be started.
(8002014C)
Does this not work with 3.40 OE-A?
