Hello
I have a PSP Slim and have loaded the CFW 3.71 M33-4. Now my question is: How do I load my ISO's and be able to play them? I used the Universal Unbricker V3. Thank You

after you have finished putting cfm on i formated the memory stick
then you get a ISO FOLDER in the main root
then put your games in that folder om mine it had a video folder in just leave that one alone and put your games next to it ok
it had me fooled because i thought that one was for videos
and was putting them in the PSP THEN GAMES FOLDER WICH IS COMMON SENSE BUT WRONG ok dudes

So what happens if you update your CFW with a custom theme on, as i did that before knowing that you arent meant to?

I'M HAVING TROUBLE FINDING THE iso FILE.the instructions say
1.) put umd in psp
2.) press select button change usb device to umd
3.) connect your psp to a pc open a window to view the psp
4.) in the window there should be an iso file copy that to your pc
these are the instructions giving to me in the guide first of all I hit "Select Button' and it does nothing but close the usb connection to my computer and second "view the PSP on the computer" I assume that means the video, music and psp folders. There is a "Iso" folder in my memory card but nowhere to be found is the ISO file What is it I'm doing wrong?I''m running 3.40 OE on fat PSP.I'm trying to backup a copy of Final Fantasy II I own

First update your firmware - here's a guide - link.
I can't remember which version it started with but the later custom firmware versions have the built in ripper referenced in this guide.
Hit the 'select' button before you connect the psp to the pc via usb. This will give you the vsh menu where you can change the usb device to umd.
Then connect the psp to the pc to rip (copy & paste) the game to your pc.

You got it - Just run the mux 2.0 and pick 3.90m33 then you can update to 3.90 m33-3
If you made the magic memory stick from this guide:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313
the files need to update will be there.
Oh and once your on 3.90 m33 you can use the network update to update to the latest custom firmware.

Are you using the same memory stick that you used for the magic memory stick? If so reformat it with the psp (take any games, music, videos off it if you don't have another copy on your pc 1st).
Now copy the game back to the iso folder.

Hmmm can't say I had any problems w/ this game running 3.90 m33-3.
Re rip the game and see if that makes a diff. Or try changing the driver - see part V no. 2 - link
Don't use the fake memory stick - they're iffy at best at times - stick w/ the real one.
edit to add: See no. 6 - make sure you aren't using symbols etc in the file name

EUREKA!!! I got it to work....
The bugger that I had wrong was
2.) make sure umd driver is set to umd mode: sony np9660 Noumd mode and the default cpu speed:333
I had it on no UMD but on M33 driver. Changed it to sony np9660 and works fine
Thanks again for all the help
