I download an xbox 360 game file, how do I burn it onto a 8.5gb DL dvd blank? I already used WinRAR to extract then i burned the iso image file with clone cd, and when I put on my xbox360 it doesnt read it. What im I doing wrong? (Yes My Xbox360 is Modded.)

ok this is the progress i have made and also by reading here a lot of others have made the same

burning with clone cd is tbh a goo d way of making costers for your tea (at least 2 per day for me)

burning with imageburn is deff the way to go as i have had only 1 failure in last 2 weeks with it and that was due to a dodgy blank

be nice to see if any other peeps are getting same results by changing to image burn and what burner are you using

mine is a pioneer 109 (1.58 fw) and pioneer 111 (1.23 fw)

didn't read the tutorial on the first page? you're not supposed to burn the .iso.. youre supposed to burn using the .dvd file with the layerbreak information. that's probably why it isn't working. try that and let us know if it worked. but it should..

Hey,

im about to buy a Pioneer 11D Burner
do i need a new firmware on it so it can burn the games better?
or will the firmware it comes with be fine?
oh and what type of cable do i need to use to connect my dvd drive to pc?

also, i know VERRBATIM DVD DL are like the ones to buy,
but what about ritek im sure is oemthing about them being good aswell?
would they be a good enough media to use?

nope, you're fine on firmware. you don't need firmware to burn information to the drive. you need kreon firmware <on drives that will except it> for when you want to extract the 360 information from games. As far as media goes, it all depends on the drive. most people will swear by verbatim. others say they've had the same, if not better, results by memorex or ritek.. <insert brand name dl disc here> etc. only way to be sure is to buy a few different kinds and test them out.

hi all! i got a technical question here..
lets say i got a Game Partition file(SIZE: 7 135 744)that is ready to send in ISOBUILDER, then create the final image file to burn....
and this game partition is a game that have been proven to be RegionFREE....
now the only thing left i need is an SS.BIN....
(now my question)can i use any SS.BIN(Pal/Ntsc) to patch image file, since the game is RegionFree ??

thanks for your answers

The new xtreme firmware supports single dvd+/-rw
So is there a specific way to rebuild xbox 360 games?
Could you get the game small enough?

Hello

I'm using the v 1.7 merger.

When I open the Iso (.000) file It says it is a wxripper style length, then once it starts calculating the md5 throws a connectiong to the database error.

What Do I do, reinstall .NET 2.0?

BTW How do I know if the file is already patched, it came in .000,.dvd format?

assuming you're current bkp works, just use clonecd and choose "CopyCD"

I don't Usenet, it uses me.
