Playback issues with sound on Apex AD1500 player

Ok, this is my problem. I have an analog Hitachi 8300A camcorder, using it as a VCR player, connected it to my Sony DV handycam TRV-33, I am using this as a pass through and connecting this to my computer via the ilink, firewire.
The Video and Audio transfer fine. I then have converted the .avi to mpeg and have put the results on a cd-rw, also on a cd-r, and dvd +r booktyped to -rom.
The above disks play just fine in my computers with benq 1640, benq 1655, and also with my Philips DVP642, but on my Apex AD1500 video plays fine, No Audio, what's up with that. I have tried everything suggested on this board but still have the same problem, no audio only on the Apex.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Seems like your Apex does'nt support your final audio conversion, have alook at the final audio conversion and then on Apex website to see if its supported on that player.
