I see Nero has its NEW update out as of today. I wonder if it will finally fix all these bugs I keep reading about on the various forums.......doubt it! I've had Nero 7 since November as I bought it on a sweet deal at Staples, but have not installed it until these problems are worked out. I'm still using the very latest ver.6 and really don't want to move until all is well in Nero-Land. I've been here on this site for quite a while, and this is my first post.... so be easy!
It's really hard to believe how much info you can glean from the folks on here if you're willing to search the archives or politely ask for help. One of the better sites around....

Ahh.. I see you posted the info about the update. I did to and then saw this post. About the bugs you speek of I have not had them. I realy like 7. If you look at some of the posts here you will see that as many people have problems with 6 as with 7 if not more. Mostly because more folks have 6 then 7 though. Also notice on a lot of what is being called bugs comes down to user error. That being said I will say 7 had its share of real bugs though. Realy in the early releases and will most likely have some still in the new releases. What it comes down to now days what we purchase is the right to report bugs as we find them it seems with most software.

That's 100% correct Whompus. When you read the release notes for the newest update, you can be sure they've all been reported to Nero by the "Beta-Testers" who have to pay good coin-of-the-realm for the honour of doing so. The old addage of "if it ain't broke ....." is my way of looking at Nero 7 until a few more tweaks take place. My 6.6.1.4 is working too good to jump just yet. My serial number won't go bad sitting under my desk!
