    Well lets just say its a home movie or something, or just a file on your computer. ILL try and help you.
    What speed did you burn it on? On my first go i burnt it on 8X speed, and it kinda worked but kept jumping and going pixelated.

    The slower the better, better quality, try it.

    If this doesn't work then i don' tknow, juat trying to help you.

    Whoa again! Downloaded material can be anything. I sometimes burn TV materials as its legal to do so from a broadcast source. I burn many TV shows to RW disks then watch them when im on the road. Just because its downloaded it doesnt mean its illegal. I also do work on computers outside my house then post them for download at a free website (that gives you space) then download them into my house. I will give you this free bit of education its called podcasting and its free download to your hearts content.

    I was and I state WAS on your side but if your pirating movies and CD's then im definetly NOT on your side. Only an idiot would talk or help a pirater here. Im not your mother but I like this site chiefly because Im not an expert and I learn alot here talking and discussing new ideas. I dont think talking about it is necessarily a bad thing however the current government is going after everyone and everything and its only a matter of time before the current bush government links piracy and terrorism. Nothing scares people more than terrorism and its the only way to get their agenda passed into law. If a bunch of people start talking about illegal activities here then the government will link this site to terrorism and try to take away all our birthdays. So please dont pirate and if you do please dont discuss it as your going to get caught and I dont want to have to send you commisary money at the federal prison. TIP* If you get caught and have to go to prison then DONT bath it will make you less attractive to the less teethed individuals in your cell with you.

    @megabyte2, just because he has downloaded files doesn't necessarily make him a PIRATE as you put it.
    There are sites where you can legally download files so I think you are jumping the gun. Your reference to terrorism is ridiculous, there is no need for any such reference.
    Think before you type.

    @billybob

    What are you on about, what did he confess to, he downloaded some files and both you and megabyte2 are calling him a pirate

    You both need to read what I said above and billybob, dont tell me to calm down.

    At the end of the day no one said anyhting about anything illegal so why dont you all just stick to the facts and help the guy out? And stop all this talk about terrorism its people like you that fuel the fire and keep it all in the mainstream chill out and help people burn "files".

    Read his posts hes a pirate. No question in my mind as he admitted it. The first person to see it saw alot more than I did. I try to see the possibilities but in the end hes a pirate. As for the jump to terrorism its an example and I dont think its a great leap. I suggest you turn on your TV or read a newspaper our rights are leaving us faster than you can ever know. You my friend live in a fantasy world and I suggest you never use words like b*mb or b*sh in your emails as they will be sitting in a box in arizona thats FT hauchuca for you less informed. Senator John Mccain is right about our rights slowly leaving the usa. He sits on the senate sub committee on intelligence and I think hes the best person to make a statement like that. Have you read some of the charges made on some of the 911 conspirators? Some did little more than take training in afganistan which is alot like what the michigan patriots do in the forests of michigan running around with rifles and practice shooting.
    I watched CNBC a couple of days ago and they were talking about how the government says buying Louis Vuitton handbags on the streets of NY city (fake bags) helps terrorists fund operations. You see the parallels? Piracy movies = Terrorism, Piracy Handbags = Terrorism ...Its just a matter of time before they find a pirate movie in osa bin ladens cave. I believe that movie will be "team america world police"

    @paulxp2k,

    Can you post what type of blank media are you using, burner (please include model number and what speed did you burn the dvd at? We might be able to assist you better.

    C'mon folks someone asks for help if you choose not to assist them then pm a mod for them to look at the content of the post, try not to bash the thread original writer. We take valuable time from assisting in solving problems posting back and forth with info not covering the topic.

    I said myself:
    Thanks very much gwendolin, i was backign him up after david66 accused him of being a pirate. I tried to help him and was suggesting, i only backed out when he said he had downloaded the movie and was burning it to disc, its dodgy ground and you know it is, id prefer to be disassociatd with it, due to, as you have made it so vividly evident, people jump down your throat for mentioning scurvy when it comes to piracy.If you look a few posts down you will find megabyte2 was backing his corner also.
    And i was telling people in general to calm down, i was trying to diffuse the situation so people could continue to help the guy.

    Thats helping him more than pointing the finger isnt it? Sorry gwend i don't want to make an enemy, but in my other thread you jumped down my throat to.

    @everyone, i meant to offence to any of you when i said people are quick ot stamp out any relation to piracy, in another thread i was involved in, a newbie on his first post came in and said piracy is frowned upon here, email me with any questions. That was talking about whether it was possible to install nero on my new laptop with my paid for serial code.
    ----------------------------------------------

    Ok, back to the subject. Yes david i think if you did 4 speed, or if possible 2 speed then it should be better wuality. Im no whizz so this is what i suggest if it is jumping and freezing and not working unless its fastforwarded. This sounds similar to when i have been trying to watch a scratched or damaged original movie. Hope i helped, sorry all.

    Basically what I was saying is im not your mother but I dont think talking about how to pirate is good whether you do it or not. I dont think having the knowledge is bad as we are just talking about it but when you see someone actually talking about doing something that is illegal I dont think websites like this one should be a conduit as they will be held responsible. Like Judas Priest was the conduit for a kid who committed suicide because he heard it being discussed in a song.
