Okay... I ve never really encountered something like this but this is what happens... I have a new laptop with a DVD-ROM drive... Today I bought a blank DVD-R (SONY) and I installed alcohol 120% just to check out its interface and stuff...

Now everytime i insert a DVD-R (blank or used), A supposedly extra DVD drive with a seperate drive letter gets installed in my system.. It has nothing to do with my cd/dvd drive either....I am guessing it's some unusual driver activity or something that alchohol 120% does...? Anyway.. anyone encountered the same problem?

Help me out if you can....

It is my understanding that Alcohol will install an Image drive on your computer.

This does no harm and may in fact be useful for you further down the track.

Do a Google search on Image Drives.
