I've been trying to create a DVD using Nero Vision Expres but for some reason when I add the file The Application shuts down for some reason. I';ve tried uninstalling using the clean tool and then re-installing the whole thing and yet it still doesn't work!

    Can anybody help me please!?

you need to convert both the avi file and .wmv file to an mpeg2 compatible format before you burn it to disc.

    see how you go .

O'h down the bottom of the page, theres a link for filepedia.Try downloading the free version of vso divx to dvd, this app with take care of your avi for starters

if you cant find it i'll link you to it when you repost

    Hi smitzy,

I don't know what version you tired of ConvertXtoDVD but, this freezing problem (if do to a screensaver-or other monitor closing thing) was fixed in version above: 2.0.1.101

You might want to try again. Why don't you post your log file here?

I hope you find a solution . . . any other conversion software getting the job done?

Soory about late reply. If I encoded one of the files would I still be able to add them to the project that I would create on NVE?

Sorry if that sounds like an obvious question I just want to make sure :)

There shouldn't be any problems doing this, the files will be converted to DVD and then just add them to NVE3 and continue to burn.

If you are using the new ConvertX prog it comes with a burn engine.
