I have a movie I want to back up. It's just a hair larger than what would fit on a single 4.7GB disc (around 5 GB). I want to put the whole thing on disc(extras and all)- basically doing a 1:1. What I have been doing so far is using Dvdfab,Dvd shrink, Dvd decrypter to make my 8 GB movie fit on my 4.7 GB disc(thanks to shrink). But the only problem in doing that is you pretty much only put on the main movie and main audio. You don't get the extras and menu's and stuff. Can I use shrink to compress the movie only a tiny bit enough to fit the whole thing on a 4.7 GB disc?

shrink should only use enough compression to get the job done. 5gb to 4.3 gb should look great using shrink.

Depending on the DVD, I bet you could take out the foreign language tracks and lower the quality on the extras and won't have to lose any quality in the main movie at all.
