alright, go to "tools", then go to "options"....then you're going to see different tabs at the tops, "general","privacy", etc.....you're going to go to the "privacy" tab.....you're going to be looking at the first tab which is "history" and it's going to say, "remember visited pages for the last _____ days......fill in the blank for however long you want it to save all your browsing and general history.

most people consider Opera the innovator (sp?). FireFox has many of Opera's features, but Opera comes out with them first (as it is not free software) and people who like those features add them into the opensource FireFox and release a new version. generally, anything you can do with opera you can do with FireFox, especially after you get the right extensions and plug-ins. but some prefer one of the other for various personal reasons. for me, it's FireFox...the program's functionality and usability are perfectly suited for my purposes, and far surpass anything IE ever did.

for the most part, yes :D

there are many ways to cover one's butt whilst online, but using IE can sure put a hole in your armor. but hey, use what works for you. IE is too bland for me, lol. i love having my adblockers, built-in IRC program, forecastfox, graphing calculator, and great security and themes.

Nice thread.
I my opinion, firefox use a lot of memory to do it job. See this picture, 32MB for a browse is too much.

Firefox has some other disadvantage, could not display correctly some code which was developed long ago...

IE, stupid browse, however, it display perfectly what the web site is design, does not eat much memory...

What I use is Maxthon (maxthon.com), you can see all advantage of Firefox and IE at this browse.

PS: for more info about firfox history, in Firefox browse, type ABOUT:CACHE in address bar, you will see what you need
