Hi ... Does anyone know why when downloading nero 7 from their website it a demo version ? Also is there a way just to install only the nero startsmart program only ? I don't care for nero home and I also notice that the back up option doesn't work too ... Thanks ...
1st when you download nero the demo just allows you to install the program then it says Demo EXPIRED! you are going to have to to buy the program yourself or . download a freeware via www.download.com and no ... you can not download startsmart alone
If you have purchased a copy of Nero 7 although it says Demo version when you include your serial no the full version is d/l. It will probably still show demo but if you uninstall and re install that should eliminate it. Yep I know it's a pain. I also think if you select Custom you may be able to d/l without NeroHome.

Towards the end of install you should get a choice of recommended or custom. I know it's strange having to install and uninstall. At this stage I would keep what you have as the newer version apparently is [bold]full of bugs[/bold] and causing some problems. Dont worry though because if you have a legits/n you can always update.
