Ritek mini DVD-r G04 vs G05

Cam I buy Ritek mini DVD-r G05 instead of the G04? I know that the G04 is the best to buy but I found a lot more stores sell the G05. I think because the G04 is being phased out. The G05 must be their new version.

 

Can I use the G05?

 

I had a look at the media list and couldn't see any mini RitekG05s?! Only full size.

BTW, how can you tell what media code the disks are before you buy them? I just crossed my fingers.

 

I don't think they make mini g05. and if they do, I better stock up on the 04s. I have full size 04 that don't work in my machine unless I do the disc swap method, and even then it's a little unreliable. You can't usually tell the code before you buy unless it says on the site. The mini riteks are typically g04.

 

I was lucky to pick up some g04, minis.

 

i used some HP full dvd+R's and they work great.

 

even my mario power tennis backups plays fine, I also tried toggling the dre fix for the xenogc chip and still flawless. I love my mini ritekg04's.
