    Hi,
Just the thing for some, see below.

    http://sandbox.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD5900.zip

The password for the zip archive is "ripper" (without the quotation marks).

For those who don't know if they should try the beta version, here is the changelog:

    5.9.0.0, 2006 02 09
    - Important: When installing this version over an existing
installation, you must reboot your machine. Otherwise the changes
made in the AnyDVD device driver will not have any effect!
    - New: Added workaround for DVDShrink / Nero Recode "Out of memory"
error when copying Macrovision RipGuard protected discs with
    menus, e.g. "Madagascar" R1 (US)
    - New: Error zones on RipGuard/Arccos/PuppetLock protected titles are
now replaced with "valid material". 3rd party tools like DVDDecrypter
will now work better (no more "Pack Header Error" messages - another try,
this time it should really work).
    - Note: To use DVDDecrypter with AnyDVD set I/O Model to SPTI or ElbyCDIO.
Set CSS Cracking method to none. Disable checking for structure
    protection.
    - New: Added "AnyDVD Ripper". This little tool repairs defective DVDs
while copying them to your harddisk. It can be started from the menu of
    the AnyDVD fox icon.
It is identical to FixVTS (http://www.videohelp.com/~FixVTS/) but instead
of fixing problems "in place" it copies the files to your harddisk directly
from the source DVD. It fixes the problems while the files are copied.
Some DVDs which have severe mastering defects e.g.,
"Menace II Society" R1 (US) can now be copied with all DVD copy tools
(elby CloneDVD, DVDShrink, etc.) Many thanks to the author of FixVTS!
"AnyDVD Ripper" is a tool intended as a "last resort". It is not
beautiful, and some of its messages cannot be localized yet.
    - Fix: Hang after update check with some system configurations

Did you "tweak" DVDDecrypter as suggested?

this is the tweak i had it set for Decrypter for a long time ago

To use DVD Decrypter in conjunction with AnyDVD as stated by Olli ->

Proceed to the DVD Decrypter Opening Page - Tools - Settings

I/O Tab - Click on "Elby CDIO-Elaborate Bytes"

General Tab - un-check "Check For Structure Protection"

or use it this way,as the updated said

Note: To use DVDDecrypter with AnyDVD set I/O Model to SPTI or ElbyCDIO.
Set CSS Cracking method to none. Disable checking for structure
    protection.

note: been using clonedvd when there was no anydvd..i have every update they but out.and the same with anydvd
    cheers

Just outta curiosity, what would happen if you DIDN'T tweak Decryptor with the new AnyDVD (or any other previous version).

Good to see Slysoft found a way around Menace II Society. A lot of people were having problems with it. You can create a direct ISO file with DVD Decrypter that will fit on a single layer disc, but so many people are used to using other apps, so doing this didn't accur to a lot of people, myself included.

    @Mr_Pink
I am assuming that if you don't "tweak" DVDD, then you would have both programs trying to work on the same files and conflict...like LOCOENG once said, "too many cooks in the kitchen"

    @aabbccdd,
I haven't use the Beta Version, BUT, I HAVE seen this message before a while back. I went ahead & set my region on my reader drive & this message has never re-appeared. It is weird because AnyDVD make the disc region free, but that is all I did to make the message go away.
By the way, Yep, Adriana is HOT.

It's funny i just got that message last night--but it's with the 5.8.4.1 version. It was an old DVD too, WWE: The Monday Night War. But I went around it. I disabled AnyDVD, ripped it with decryptor, ran it through VOB, Shrink to compress and then Decryptor to burn. Worked like a charm. Plus, it was my first Taiyo Yuden burn--woohoo!

    Hi,
Those who have a similar problem as the one above. Try settings CSS Keys tab & untick Use CSS Archive box, if ticked. This should help in most if not all cases of this nature.
