im pretty sure this is the right forum for this situation. i have a router and all of that and a network set up wit it. i got my desktop pc where i have most of my songs and all of that and then i have my laptop. before i got my new laptop, i culd access all of my files by sharing them. now, i can see my laptops filez from my desktop, but when i try to see the files i am sharing on my desktop, my laptop says something about i dont have permission to view it, please contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permisions.
You should be able to fix that by going to >>control pannel >>networks, and checking if you set the permissions so that both computers are allowed to acces each others files.
